Frommer's Review
This boutique hotel is an excellent choice for business travelers and those seeking quiet, centrally located accommodations. The decor, uncharacteristic of tropical Panama City, is done in conservative, richly textured hues with mahogany furnishings -- very English in style, and guest rooms have carpeted floors. The beds are divine, with deluxe bedding (fluffy down comforters and pillows), and double-paned windows allow a good night's sleep. Luxury bathrooms with spacious Italian-marble countertops, potted orchids, and a big bathtub add even more comfort to the guest rooms. You'll be lured into staying in and ordering room service -- and coincidentally, the on-site restaurant is one of the best in town. The eager-to-please staff can accommodate any need, including pressing a shirt or arranging a tour, and they issue all guests a set of business cards printed with their name and the hotel's info. The downsides: There's no pool, and the lobby is tiny (though the cozy bar serves 72 kinds of rum).
Facilities:
