Josselin is just one of maybe 20 crêperies that are concentrated around the "gateway to Brittany" Montparnasse train station, but it stands above all others as the city's best. The Breton working the griddle knows exactly how to achieve the lacy, golden edges of a perfect galette, and he's not shy with the butter. Our idea of a perfect lunch (especially after too much wine the night before) is Josselin's complete -- a buckwheat galette stuffed with egg, cheese, and ham -- paired with a ceramic bowl of hard cider and followed by a salted butter caramel crepe. Priced at just 10€, that set menu is one of the best deals in town. The easy prices, continuous service and wide range of flavor combinations make this a great option for children as well.
