This is that cozy bistro, all wood and velvet, that you hope to find in Paris. Chez Henri is classic and it also specializes in the dishes of the Lyon region, still hailed as the gastronomic center of France. The elegantly decorated place is warm and welcoming and feeds you well, all at a reasonable price. Its slow-cooked lamb with prunes and potatoes gratin is worth crossing town to devour, as is their magret de canard (breast of duckling) with honey. Their delicate fish dishes such as red mullet in a cream sauce are always excellent. We like to finish off with crème brûlée based on a coveted family recipe.
