Built around 1900, this hotel is a real find behind La Madeleine church and near the Opéra Garnier. Throughout most of 2007 this hotel was undergoing a major renovation, so look for changes after its opening. Rooms are somewhat tight, but very well furnished and comfortable, and many of them are air-conditioned. Those on the top floor are reached by a narrow staircase; some have skylights. Most rooms have twin beds, and all of them come with a tub/shower combo. Reception will make arrangements for parking at a nearby garage.
