Most of this hotel's attraction comes from its location in the Latin Quarter, behind a well-known Left Bank street. Janet Flanner, the legendary 1920s New Yorker correspondent, lived here for awhile. The guest rooms are small but charming, with antique ceiling beams and safes; air-conditioning is available in most. The public areas are severely elegant. Most of the bathrooms contain tubs and all come with showers.
