Frommer's Review
Across from the Palais Bourbon and just 2 blocks from the Seine, this boutique hotel resides in the same tony neighborhood as such famous Parisian residents as Karl Lagerfeld. It is only a short walk to the landmark place du Palais-Bourbon and the boulevard St-Germain. A six-floor hotel, the building itself dates from 1791. Two of the bedrooms open onto the Grand Palais or the Assemblée Nationale, and from some windows you can see all the way down to the place de la Concorde. A 1924 cage elevator takes visitors to the accommodations, which are midsize for the most part, although some are small and have no view whatsoever. Each room is individually decorated, often in Empire style or with Empire reproductions. All contain tiled bathrooms that, though small, are equipped with tubs and showers. The lounge is also small, but has a marble-topped bar. Rollet Pradier, one of the city's best patisseries, lies just across the street.
