The hot sounds of Brazil permeate this nighttime party at this bar and restaurant that makes the best mojitos in town (surely even Ernesto Hemingway would approve). Weekends are packed with an under-35 crowd. At times you'll think you've been transplanted to Rio de Janeiro. Bossa jazz and samba rap are also heard on some nights. A favela, incidentally, is a ghetto in Brazil. Open Tuesday to Saturday 9pm to 4am.
