Frommer's Review
A hot Parisian Left Bank bar, this rendezvous point attracts a hip and rather laid-back coterie of friends to its precincts not far from the famous street, rue St-André-des-Arts. Tables and chairs are found in the front room, with banquettes in the back. Writers and artists, ranging in age from 18 to 60, are drawn here, especially during the happy hour from 5 to 9pm, when you buy one drink and get the second free. The bartender selects the music, be it rock, Latino, house or soca. On our last visit, Dominican Republic merengue was the rage. Open Tuesday to Saturday 5pm to 2am.
