Located in what used to be the village of Passy (before it got gobbled up by the 16th arrondissement), these colorful lodgings lie on a cute pedestrian market street. The soundproofed rooms are just upstairs from the hotel’s restaurant, which features a large outdoor terrace that sprawls out onto a leafy square. True, it’s a little out of the city center, but if you are looking for calm and quaint (and chic boutiques), this neighborhood has it all. Despite the decorator’s fondness for fuchsia, the room decor is pleasantly subdued, with lots of warm wood colors and arty mosaic tiles in the bathrooms. Everything is in tip-top condition, and double paned windows keep out most street noise. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the courtyard.
