Frommer's Review
This upscale eatery is a good choice when you want innovative cuisine in a classy atmosphere. In fine weather, you can dine outdoors under a large umbrella; otherwise, sit in the simple yet elegant European-style cafe, which is outfitted with brocade upholstered booths, white tablecloths, fresh flowers, and wrought-iron chandeliers. The lunch menu offers burgers and a variety of sandwiches, such as a grilled vegetable sandwich, composed of sweet onions, zucchini, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and provolone cheese on homemade focaccia. Dinner brings such main courses as herb-encrusted Utah rainbow trout; grilled flank steak with garlic mashed potatoes and a wild mushroom sauce; and baked halibut with a corn pancake, served on a bed of artichoke hearts and asparagus. There's also a variety of pastas and unusual pizzas with toppings such as shrimp and artichoke hearts. The cafe serves a mean lemonade and offers espresso and full liquor service.
