Frommer's Review
After guiding the restaurant at the Goldener Hirsch Inn at Deer Valley, Jean Louis Montecot opened his own place in downtown Park City in 2006, and the results are electrifying. Centered on an amber onyx bar, the casual, contemporary space is dimly lit and attractive to the bar-hopping crowd, but it prides itself on providing a fine-dining experience at the same time. The diverse menu ranges from gourmet pizza to seared Peruvian trout to fish tacos to rack of New Zealand lamb. With side dishes of such comfort foods as onion rings and corn mashed potatoes, the results are reliably dazzling. Full liquor service is available.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
