El Primer Piso, which means "the first floor" (second floor in American usage), offers a bit of everything but focuses mostly on dishes of its own creation: pechuga enogada (chicken breast in walnut cream sauce) with cashews, for instance, and pescado en salsa negra (fish in a three-chile vinaigrette). These are good, as are the appetizers. The soups are more conventional -- Tarascan, French onion, and Provençal. The restaurant is on the same block as El Patio.
