This is one of the best places to try regional Michoacán cuisine. It serves fish in several ways, including in a cilantro sauce, al mojo de ajo (this is the most popular way of eating fish in Mexico -- it's griddled with tiny toasted bits of garlic), or cooked in herbs. The restaurant also serves a fixed-price menu, which includes a glass of wine. For dessert, try a buñuelo topped with ice cream. The dining room is in the colonial Hotel Mansión Iturbe and is comfortable and welcoming. In the afternoon you can order at the tables outside under the archway.
