This is Penrith's finest accommodations and the most family-friendly hotel in the area. The exterior may lack character, but you'll find compensation inside. A member of the Shire Inns chain, this hotel is designed to meet the needs of businesspeople during the week and vacationers on weekends. Rooms are bright and spacious, decorated with classic wood furniture, large couches, and soft pastel accents. Six rooms are large enough for rental to families, and some have bunk beds. Guests enjoy an inviting lobby sitting area with a grand, barn-style, open ceiling with rustic beams, and a huge stone fireplace.
