Frommer's Review
This small-scale hotel occupies a stone-sided house that was erected in 1660 on the site of a 12th-century abbey that was demolished by Henry VIII. On a narrow side street on raised terraces that overlook the panorama of Penzance Harbour, behind the hotel is a medieval walled garden that was part of the original abbey. Bedrooms are furnished with English country-house flair.
