Decked out in shades of amber, gold, and light brown leather, with richly textured fabrics on the cozy booths, this 18-year-old fine-dining spot is Manayunk's upscale destination for dinner or brunch. Moneyed families gather here, as do romantic couples. Owner Bruce Cooper is famous for his crab cakes and wonderful spring roll and tuna tartare appetizers. Meats and dishes are inventive and perfectly prepared. At lunch, you can have a pristine but hearty salad, or a hefty and flavorful cheeseburger -- the Sunday brunch omelet is a voluptuous beauty, with asparagus and home fries. There is a cozy six-seat bar in front for people-watching.
