This tiny Spanish tapas restaurant, tucked away in a courtyard in downtown Carefree's Spanish Village shopping center, is well worth searching out. Not only will you find the best tapas in the Phoenix area, but an excellent wine list (try some of the Argentine wine). The friendly owner and staff make this a fun, casual place for a light meal after cowboying up in adjacent Cave Creek. Try the Catalan flatbread (sort of like pizza), the banderillas (skewers of meat, olives, and red and yellow peppers), or paella.
