Just around the corner from the Royal Phuket City Hotel, the Metropole is a fine business hotel. Public spaces are all spit-and-polish (though not especially grand), and the rooms are large and fully appointed (if bland), with good black-and-white tile bathrooms. Service is passable, on a good day.
