Scuba & Snorkeling -- As in their other locations in Vietnam (Nha Trang, Whale Island, and Can Dao Island), Rainbow Divers (tel. 0913/400-964; www.divevietnam.com) runs a very professional outfit here on Phu Quoc. Check out their small office near the boat-booking offices just south of Duong Dong town, at their popular Rainbow Bar on the road near the resorts south of Duong Dong, or at their beachside Rainbow Restaurant -- as well as at most hotel front desks (as in Nha Trang, the Rainbow Divers folks are already going a little overboard with exposure and advertising). There are other small dive companies on Phu Quoc, but Rainbow is the most professional and, unlike the others, has access to all of Phu Quoc's coral dive sites in the north, as well as in the south at the An Thoi Islands. The diving season is from October to May, depending on currents.
