HotelsThere is a host of accommodations options in and around Placencia. In general, the town's budget hotels and guesthouses are located in the village proper, either just off the sidewalk or around the soccer field. As you head north to the broader and more isolated beaches, prices tend to rise. Very Expensive In addition to the places listed here, Chabil Mar (tel. 523-3606; www.chabilmarvillas.com) offers up luxurious, fully equipped condo units right on the beach just north of town. Inexpensive If the places listed here are full, you can simply walk around the village and see what's available, or head to either Julia & Lawrence's Guesthouse (tel. 503-3478; www.juliasrooms.com) or Deb and Dave's Last Resort (tel. 523-3207; debanddave@btl.net), both located just off the sidewalk towards the center of the village.
