With a design by famed Costa Rican architect Víctor Cañas, creative cocktails, and a wide-ranging tapas menu, this is easily the hippest place to drink and dine in the Papagayo area. The entire restaurant is open air, on a raised deck under tall trees, with angled steel supports and slanted rooflines. The menu spans the globe from Thailand to Spain to Italy. The firecracker shrimp and the shredded pork lettuce wraps in a mango-tamarind sauce are especially good. And there are more than a dozen specialty martinis, margaritas, and mojitos.
