If I want a steak in Playa, this is where I go. (Well, actually, I would try the address listed below in hopes that the restaurant pulled off the move as planned, but this being Mexico, I would be prepared to find it back at its old location on Avenida 10 between 24 and 26.) The owner is an Argentine who has been living in Mexico so long, he's gone Mexican. But the food is faithful to his native land: steaks, good empanadas, and southern-style pastas, and you can't go wrong with any of the soups. When ordering a steak, remember that "termino medio" means medium-rare, while "tres cuartos" means medium. For dessert there are crepes, mousse, and flan, usually.
