If I want a steak in Playa, this is where I go. (You might want to call ahead to make sure the restaurant is at its present location. For the last couple of years, there has been talk about a move to Calle 28.) The owner is an Argentine who has been living in Mexico so long, he's gone Mexican. But the food is faithful to his native land: steaks, good empanadas, and southern-style pastas, and you can't go wrong with any of the soups. For dessert, there are crepes and flan.
