About a block from the Old Town square, the modern Continental is considered by locals to be one of the best hotels in town, though I have to say it's far from the lap of luxury. Still, velvet-covered furniture and blue-tiled bathrooms (in the rooms with facilities, for which you'll pay a higher rate) greet you in units bigger than those in most of the other hotels in the area. Downstairs, the casino stays open late if you're feeling lucky or just thirsty.
