Hôtel de l'Europe ReviewOriginally built in the 1930s, this hotel sits behind a facade of chiseled stone. The main core holds renovated high-ceilinged rooms decorated in vaguely Art Nouveau fashion or even African or Chinese styles; these units have either showers or tubs. Somewhat more modern and more comfortable rooms are in an annex built in the mid-1980s. These have a contemporary, conservative style and tub/shower combinations. Some units contain minibars. Breakfast (the only meal available) is served in an old-fashioned dining room in the original building, in front of tall windows and an elaborate fireplace.
