Getting There

From Zurich, via Chur, a train arrives in Pontresina every hour throughout the day until 9pm (until 10pm Fri-Sun). There's also a train arriving every hour from St. Moritz. For train schedules, call tel. 0900/300-300.

In the winter a "sportbus" runs between St. Moritz and Pontresina every 25 minutes daily from 7:30am to midnight (until 2am Fri-Sat). Tickets can be purchased at the post office or directly on the bus. Each way costs 15F; for information call the bus station in St. Moritz (tel. 081/834-90-90).

If you're driving from St. Moritz, head northeast along Route 27, then cut southeast at the junction with Route 29.

Visitor Information

In lieu of street names, follow hotel or restaurant directional signs. The Pontresina Tourist Office (tel. 081/838-83-20; www.pontresina.com) is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to noon and 2 to 6pm. During high season it is also open Saturday 9am to noon and 3 to 6pm, and Sunday 2 to 6pm.
