Frommer's Review
The Schweizerhof dates from 1910, but it was so drastically modernized in 1975 that old-time visitors hardly recognize it; much of its roofline (including the towers and turrets) was removed. Yet it remains a huge, comfortable hotel. The midsize rooms are well furnished and comfortable, and the corner bay-windowed doubles open onto views to the southwest. All the bathrooms are neatly maintained, 45 units equipped with tub/shower combinations, the rest with private showers.
