Conveniently located one road back from King's Beach, a stone's throw from McArthur Pools, this is the first guesthouse in P.E. to embrace the modern boutique-hotel aesthetic, with customized fittings and furniture throughout, much of it designed by Haldane Martin, local Elle Décor Designer of the Year. Luxury rooms are huge enough to be termed suites, and furnished with all the modcons needed for a comfortable stay. Book one of the upstairs rooms for views, particularly room no. 3, which has sea vistas from its balcony. Breakfast is served in the dining room, on the deck, or in your room, and a complimentary shuttle service is on hand to take you to the Boardwalk complex, with its many restaurant choices (though it's worth noting that Caroline, the manageress, while well-meaning, is unable to make informed restaurant recommendations; something you'd expect at this price).
