Anchoring the opposite end of RiverPlace Esplanade from the RiverPlace hotel, this large, glitzy restaurant serves up a view of the Willamette, not to mention excellent seafood. Four dining levels assure everyone a view of the river and marina below, and, in summer, customers head out to tables on the sidewalk. Because it's so popular, the place tends to be noisy and the help can sometimes be a bit harried; this doesn't detract from the fine food, though. Seafood (such as tombo tuna with port wine and cranberries, or salmon and halibut sautéed with forest mushrooms, hazelnuts, and berries) is the main attraction here, but the menu is quite extensive. The clientele is mostly upscale, especially at lunch and during the after-work hours.
