Frommer's Review
Everyone in Portland seems to have a favorite Thai restaurant, and, while Baan-Thai may not show up on local "Best of Portland" lists, it should. It's cheap, it's casual, and it's pretty conveniently located. And best of all: This place does awesome fish dishes. Try the Niagara fish (a whole fried fish topped with spicy lime sauce) or the Panang salmon in creamy curry sauce. The volcano chicken, which is actually a whole game hen baked and then fried and served with Thai barbecue sauce, is another must-have.
