The Village Porto de Galinhas is right on the beach and offers good value for families traveling with kids. The facilities have recently been renovated and the swimming pools and leisure area have been expanded. All rooms are very spacious and, although not luxurious, pleasantly furnished with comfortable, firm beds and splashes of color. Every room has a balcony with a hammock, overlooking the garden and swimming pool, with a partial ocean view. Even though the hotel has almost 200 rooms, it has an intimate feel. The pool area can be a bit noisy in the daytime; not for couples seeking a romantic retreat.
