Right on the beach at Fornillo, this historic restaurant cannot be reached by car (an elevator will take you down from the parking lot off SS 163), but is a moderately short walk away from Marina Grande along a seaside path. A 1950s vibe has been preserved, with the colorful and informal dining terrace and down-to-earth menu. The food is good, and your kids can run around on the beach outside (where you can rent umbrellas and chairs). We recommend the excellent spaghetti alle vongole (with fresh clams) and the fritto misto (deep-fried seafood medley). Note: Pizza is served only for dinner. Above the restaurant are 34 large guest rooms with basic amenities (180€-220€ double, including breakfast; parking 15€).
