This stylish restaurant occupies the third floor of a hotel of the same name. Waiters will tell you that its terrace is "just 80 steps above the level of the sea." Bougainvillea, geraniums, hibiscus, and lemon trees are artfully massed in the terrace corners, and during nice weather the inside dining room closes completely in favor of the alfresco experience. The menu items revolve around what's available at the seafood markets and include linguine le Sirenuse, with lobster, scampi, and crayfish; linguine with artichoke hearts and scampi that's been cooked en papillote (in parchment); fresh salads and antipasti; and a grilled medley of fish and shellfish prepared for two or more. Expect lots of Mediterranean herbs, mozzarella, and homemade pastries.
