This delightful family-run hotel overlooking the sea is one of Positano's lesser-known, distinctive hotels. The common areas are decorated with reproduction artwork and fine tiles to evoke a neoclassical feeling. The motif continues in the elegant, comfortable guest rooms, all of which are decorated in Mediterranean style, with bright artistic tiled floors and bathrooms; private balconies overlook the sea. The roof terrace has a 360-degree view over the town and a swimming pool with a solarium. An additional 10 rooms are in the less-inspired annex (the cheaper "standard" rooms are likely to be here; inquire when you book). The hotel's restaurant serves good food in a romantic setting. Another nice feature is the free shuttle bus to the center of Positano.
