This family-run hotel is quite small, having only 14 units, but it's a good choice if you don't mind sacrificing amenities for location -- it sits in the heart of Positano only steps from the beach. Rates are very reasonable. Some of the rear-facing guest rooms open onto flowery private terraces, where you can have breakfast in good weather; other rooms overlook the village, and few of the standard doubles have only a miniscule window (make sure you don't get one of those). All are decorated with simple but quality modern furniture and pastel-colored tiled floors, and have good-size bathrooms (some with shower only).
