Garnets fill the cases of Prague's premier jeweler. Czechs swear by Halada for quality, price, and selection. There is also an outlet of this store among the displays on the ground floor of Tesco. Open daily from 9am to 7pm.

Beyond garnets, Halada has one of the best arrays of market-priced gold, silver, platinum, and fine gems in this city, which 16 years ago used to ration wedding rings as a subsidized entitlement (no joke).
