Aria compares favorably to the nearby Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa in terms of jaw-dropping luxury and   room prices to match, but it's admittedly a bit less gaudy. In keeping with the music theme, each of the 51 rooms and suites is named after a different composer or musical performer. There's even a music concierge on duty to advise on musical choices. Each room has a different decor, ranging from tasteful contemporary digs to those that can only be described as 19th-century period piece, though each room comes with its own flat screen TV, computer, and CD/DVD player (to enjoy the music). The rooftop terrace restaurant has excellent food and commands dazzling views. Again, this is not a hotel for those with cars (poor parking options).
