Here we have a veritable orgy of fine food (La Degustation traditionally places at or near the top on local lists of the best restaurants in the country). Diners are offered a choice of two elaborate, 6- to 8-course set menus, featuring either traditional Czech or Continental classics. The (slightly cheaper) Czech version features locally sourced trout, farm-raised chicken and beef tongue, among other specialties. The more expensive option repeats some of the same items but adds a course of Japanese wagyu beef. The meal unfolds over 3 hours, and sommeliers are on hand to suggest wines to match the dishes. Not cheap, but a one-of-a-kind culinary adventure. Reservations are essential.
