Frommer's Review
This beautifully romantic spot has a leisurely, old-fashioned charm, but it may have the most innovative menu on the island. Grace's Cottage is a little architectural gem: a warm buttery-yellow cottage with Victorian-style gingerbread trim and latticework. The restaurant only seats 62 people, and you can bet the majority of them are couples holding hands across the candlelit tables. You dine on the cottage terrace or on one of the patios surrounding the cottage, nestled in tropical vegetation and softly illuminated lighting. Inside you can enjoy an aperitif at the mahogany bar before taking a chair at one of the teak tables covered with Egyptian cotton tablecloths. Chef Mario Larese has developed an imaginative menu with creative food pairings. You might start with the red snapper with garlic grits and watercress in a Turk's Head beer dressing or the duck breast and veal kidney served with seasonal beans in a sugar-cane demi-glace.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
