Frommer's Review
This was one of the first hotels constructed on the fabulous sands of Grace Bay Beach. The hotel is a fantastic value, but don't expect anything grand or a huge laundry list of resort amenities -- and don't expect the staff to shower you with love. What the hotel does have is a laid-back, informal vibe, alluring courtyard gardens, and knockout Grace Bay views. It's considerably nicer than any chain-style hotel, with comfortable rooms that have a light, breezy decor. For a stupendous deal on Grace Bay, book the one-bedroom upstairs apartment, detached from the actual hotel. It has a full kitchen (with pots, pans, plates, the works), a separate living room, a big, comfortable bed, and two oceanfront patios, one screened, one open -- you'll feel as if you have your own sunny beachfront cottage within spitting distance of the million-dollar sands of the Palms. The pool is small and a little homely. On-site is the Bay Bistro, a sunny beachside restaurant offering barefoot diners breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; outdoor pool; babysitting; laundry service

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
