Termas de Menetúe

In January 2008, Termas de Menetúe opened a dazzling indoor spa complex with two pools, sauna, massage tubs, mud baths, and massage rooms that is now the focus of this resort. The reception area and restaurant look out onto a giant grass-encircled swimming pool, and a short path takes visitors around to a woodsier setting, with one average-size pool serenaded by a gurgling waterfall. It's a relaxing, bucolic place with giant ferns and a gently flowing stream. The pine cabins are for two to six people and sit a bit too far from the complex. They come with a fully stocked kitchen and wood-burning stove. Menetúe rents bicycles and can point out a few trails for walking. A restaurant serves decent Chilean cuisine, and there's a snack bar near the second pool.
