This four-story hotel (with elevator) has a great location. The rooms are ample and attractive, but avoid units along Calle 3, which are noisy from traffic below. The furnishings are simple; standard rooms usually contain twin beds with thin pillows. Bathrooms are basic but sufficient. The hotel's restaurant is good. The Colonial is 1 block east of the zócalo, on a pedestrian walkway.
