Loyal patrons have frequented Puerto Morelos’s oldest bar-restaurant, now in the capable hands of the founder’s family, for 30 years. You can sit in the simple whitewashed palapa-roofed dining room, in the shady garden, or on sidewalk tables. The Sunday breakfast buffet is especially popular. The dinner menu focuses on fresh seafood and Yucatecan-influenced dishes; the ceviche is justly famous, and the grilled fish is stellar. Delicious fish, corn, and other vegetable soups, accompanied by tortillas, are hearty enough to make a meal.
