Originally, and still primarily a sportfishing resort, this place also caters to other sorts of adventure travelers. The rooms are the best you'll find right in Puerto Jiménez, with tons of space and private balconies or verandas -- try for a garden-facing second-floor unit. The hotel has excellent facilities and expansive grounds. In addition to a large modern fleet of fishing boats, with top-notch crew and equipment, they have a well-staffed activities and tour desk, and a large spa. The food and service here are also excellent.
