Most of Puerto Morelos's restaurants are on or around the main square. These include Los Pelícanos for seafood, Bodo's (in the hotel Hacienda Morelos) for good lunch specials and a few German dishes, David Lau's for Asian food, El Pirata if you have kids (for its large menu), and Le Café d'Amancia for coffee and pastries. The most expensive is John Grey's, a couple blocks north of the plaza and 3 blocks inland. It's open for dinner except on Sundays. The owner is a former chef for the Ritz-Carlton.
