This is a big hotel with an intimate boutique feel, idyllically set in an alpine forest and offering traditional hotel-style rooms as well as apartment-style suites with kitchen and laundry facilities. Accommodations are in three wings, with uncovered walkways between them and the main lodge (umbrellas are provided). The staff is incredibly friendly, the property is quiet, and you’ll quickly get that home-away-from-home feel. Twenty large, stylish new villas came on stream in 2003, and these are terrific value for families and long-stayers. The property is Green Globe benchmarked and has a Qualmark Enviro-Gold rating.
