Owner Louise Kiely has remodeled this unique stay into something between a small boutique hotel and a B&B. The property has eight delightful rooms in the main house and seven new villa suites in an adjacent building. Each has its own special charm -- I especially love the Hunting Room -- but for the best views, go for the Baron Room. Apartment suites in the new block are much bigger and have their own decks, large sitting rooms, and a modern kitchen. Louise has personality-plus and encourages guests to meet for pre-dinner drinks in the cozy living room. A delicious breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the lake and township, which is only a short walk downhill.
