This fine restaurant is set in a 17th-century palace in a labyrinth of intricately vaulted cellars, where the temperature remains cool in summer and comfortable even on the coldest days of winter. Any of the lavishly decorated tables presents a charming venue for lunch or dinner, but the most awe-inspiring are found in the deepest part of the labyrinth, a monastic-looking stone-sided room lined with wines selected personally by the owner. You'll enjoy dishes that may include zuppa di pesce don Serafino, ravioli with a porcini mushroom sauce, fresh fish cooked to perfection, and herb-and-garlic-infused lamb cutlets. In July and August, the restaurant does not serve lunch Monday to Wednesday.
