Frommer's Review
When this likable restaurant and its crowded-with-novelties gift emporium opened here, in what was originally conceived in the 1950s as a member of the Piggly Wiggly grocery store chain, a team of designers added decorative touches such as a spectacular glass chandelier from Murano. Menu items are savory, flavorful, and popular, including shrimp and grits; Thai-style chicken wraps; shrimp-studded BLT sandwiches; grilled chicken salads; and a blue plate special that, on the night of our visit, included stuffed chicken breasts with mozzarella, basil, and tomato. Come here for a sense of fun and whimsy and artfully offhanded cuisine.
