Frommer's Review
Although it needs some improvements to its restaurant and funky beachside bar, this resort sitting in junglelike grounds alongside Muri Beach comes closest of any Rarotonga property to capturing the appearance and ambience of French Polynesia's small resorts. The luxurious "villas" have two bedrooms, private entertainment areas, full kitchens, laundry facilities, minibars, and TVs with DVD players. Most other units are in one- and two-story buildings on either side of a stream crossed by foot bridges. More bungalow-like, the beachside and beachfront suites give the impression of having your own cottage. Six beachfront units in a two-story building are the largest and most expensive of the hotel-style rooms; their patios and porches are the only ones here which directly face the lagoon. Sitting near the round-island road, the swimming pool is almost an afterthought here.
