One of the most popular backpackers' hostels in the entire South Pacific, Vara's is usually packed with as many as 200 young travelers jammed into dorms, five rooms, four studio suites, and two small cabins right on Muri Beach, or in five houses up on the hill across the road. The studio suites have kitchens, private bathrooms, and balconies, which make them suitable for any budget traveler regardless of age. The original beach house, a lagoonside dorm, and the five houses all have communal kitchens, toilets, and showers.
